At Radar Media, we wouldn’t be who we are today if it weren’t for some very important people – our customers. This post is the first of several ‘Customer Spotlights’ that you’ll get to see as we continue blogging at Radar. We want to feature the people that have helped us grow as a company, and to shed a little light on their branding and marketing programs and how they’ve evolved through Internet and traditional marketing.
Our first Customer Spotlight is a company called SevOne. They provide network performance management solutions to IT managers, architects and engineers. I had the pleasure of talking with CEO Michael Phelan and Director of Operations Tanya Shea to find out a bit more about what makes SevOne tick and how Radar Media has impacted their success.
Founded in 2006 and headquartered in Newark, Delaware, SevOne has experienced tremendous success and continues to thrive as the needs of data management and protection evolve. They have created a way for IT managers to monitor the performance of their data centers in order to make informed decisions about how to maintain their network and application infrastructures at peak performance levels, incorporating an open web-services API, Web 2.0 GUI and P2P clustering. That may be a mouthful for some of you readers out there, but what it means is that managers are better able to keep their networks running smoothly, with the ability to monitor hundreds of devices at once in an easy-to-use interface.
How does Radar Media play into the equation? We designed their current website and have worked with them to create a consistent, strong brand identity. “We had a home-grown website, but it had dated information,” said Phelan. “We wanted a fresher, more contemporary look. So we went to Massachusetts to meet with Paul and made some outlines. He was great and really listened to our needs.” Over the course of the next few months, after revisions and final tweaks, the new website, logo and branding package were born.
With the goal to make the website a “part of a whole”, to echo the vision of the company across all platforms, SevOne was able to solidify their marketing campaign both online and off to reinforce their identity to their customers and to move forward with confidence. In addition to mailings and traditional marketing, SevOne regularly attends trade shows and is hoping to add new media elements like streaming video to their website.
It sounds like SevOne is ready to take on the future of Internet technology, both with their product and in their marketing approach. From talking with them directly, I can say that they have a great group of people working there and it will be exciting to see what lies ahead for SevOne.
